Data Science is a multi-disciplinary field to extract knowledge from data that involves identification of business case to answer questions or issues; data collection, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization; and presentation of insights to target groups. It is an emerging area that has been identified as a key component in ICT services and many sectors in Malaysia. The aim of this book is to provide a collection of data science case studies in Malaysia context. The ranging of the case studies presented in this book including data exploration, visualization and prediction. This book introduces readers such as either postgraduate or undergraduate students, lecturers, researchers, and practitioners to a range of data analytics techniques related to data science in a multi-disciplinary application. The data analytics techniques discussed is either statistical based process or machine learning based process using analytical tools such as Python programming, R Studio (R Programming), Microsoft Excel, SAS, MATLAB, IBM SPSS, and many others to perform data analysis are presented in this book.
Generally, this book will help to expand knowledge and issues related to various approach of data analytics concerning in data science area in different type of application through the case studies discussed in this book. Thus, provides an opportunity to disseminate latest results in this growing field.
