This volume consists of ten chapters focusing on overviews and comprehensive properties of specific polymer blend and clay nanocomposites.  It provides current studies on developing areas and new frontiers in polymer blend and clay nanocomposites.  This volume covers different kinds of polymer and rubber such as polypropylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, polyvinyl alcohol, conductive polymer polypyrrole, a biodegradable polymer such as polylactic acid and poly (3-hydroxybutyrate).  Chapters in the book highlight the use of different fillers in clay composites such as sepiolite and halloysite nanofillers. They also elaborate the effects of  filler contents, blend ratio and types of filler  on the mechanical, thermal, electrical, morphological and physical properties of the blend and nanocomposite in detail. This book aims to beginners in materials to familiarize themselves with material evaluations, especially in characterizing and testing for mechanical, thermal and physical properties of polymer blend and nanocomposites.
