Safety and Feasibility of Maritime Operation




This book is about the safety and feasibility aspects considered in maritime operation; especially for the marine industrial activities related to ship and offshore structures. It covers the field of Offshore Hydromechanics, Fluid Dynamic, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Ship, and Offshore Structure Design, Ship Powering, and Marine IOT concept. This book is aimed at maritime practitioners, as well as individuals who need to know or apply the marine engineering design concept which strongly contributes to the operational safety and feasibility of floating structures in the sea. Apart from this, the methods required in considering the environmental condition especially the sea wave in design and operating the system of ship and offshore structures are also revealed. Additionally, the consideration of IR4.0 and deep learning application in the maritime industry is also being reviewed.
