Through this, a critical review has been made to determine the most dermatological disorders reported and importance of skin care as primary alternative treatment. Another segments of this book is discussing regarding the Malaysian consumers’ awareness on consuming natural or plant-based foods for healthy skin. A data on perception among Malaysian to consume natural-based food products due to several factors; purchasing behaviour, consumer motivation and attitude have been revealed. Additionally, for the last chapter, a convergence of Malaysian conventional diet with its application in food-based cosmetics and skin care products have been discussed which empowering the nutricosmetics skin. Here, all conventional or traditional Malaysian herbs have been reported for their therapeutic effects on skin and potential of part of them to be implemented in end beauty products. Hence, through this book, audiences can get the data from most skin concerns related among Malaysian to be related to their own case and easily narrow their scope to purchase good skin care. Additionally, they will know what are the good foods can be consumed and beneficial of our traditional or conventional diet to get a healthy skin.
