This book is an intermediate text intended for students, practitioners, and readers of Islamic law and waqf. The book discusses the fundamental aspects in the management, development, and financing of waqf property. It introduces the basic legal concept of waqf, its critical analysis, with a view to removing some conceptual obstacles to the development of such real estate, while developing an idea of value-based waqf dedication that can eventually overcome the issue of illiquidity of such assets.
