The Quality Objectives of Penerbit UTM Press are to ensure that:

  1. Every published product does not receive client’s complaints exceeding two out of four categories. The categories of complaints mentioned are Language, Fact, Physical Defect, and Print Quality.
  2. Total yearly publication percentage is not less than 90% of total yearly estimate.
  3. Period of publication meets the stipulated schedule, i.e. 12 months for manuscript, and 6 months for journal article, upon completion of the assessment process.
  4. Delivery of books to clients meets promised date upon receipt of complete orders, i.e. within three (3) working days for local orders, seven (7) working days within West Malaysia, and 21 working days for Sabah & Sarawak/overseas.
  5. All published books/journals meet the prescribed quality standards in aspects of shape, print and binding.
