Description
This book is intended for undergraduate students studying human resource development (HRD) to enhance their understanding of needs analysis in HRD. This book examines the discrepancies between desired and actual performance of an organisation or business. This book incorporates the authors’ experiences and insights obtained from participating in relevant consultation projects. Throughout the book, six chapters address topics commonly encountered in organisations to systematically find solutions to human resource issues through the diagnosis of needs, which can be resolved through training or non-training interventions. The chapters address the concepts of needs analysis, diagnosis tools, needs analysis approaches, performance measurement, a needs analysis framework, and needs analysis outcomes.
