The book discusses the operation of slickline and its relation to well completion. The Slickline Operations contains six chapters. Chapters One and Two highlight the basic knowledge in fluid mechanics and well completion that should be mastered by slickline operators. Also explained in the chapters are the requirements of slickline operations and the responsibilities of slickline operators. Chapters Three and Four cover the surface slickline equipment and slickline tools respectively which should be well understood before the readers can appreciate examples of slickline operations outlined in Chapter Five. The final chapter deals with final tasks in a slickline operation including preparation of daily operation reports which should be done by slickline operators before moving to another location or heading back home. This book can be used as a textbook or a reference book for petroleum engineering students. The book is also suitable for professionals who are working in the oil and gas industry.
